J. Timothy Kernan, P.E., P.P., C.M.E.

J. Timothy Kernan is a licensed professional engineer in the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and a licensed professional planner and a certified municipal engineer in the State of New Jersey.  Mr. Kernan holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Princeton University and has twenty years experience.  He is the President of J. Timothy Kernan, Inc., incorporated in 1994, a firm specializing in civil engineering, environmental services and land surveying for private and public clients.  He also co-founded the firm of melvin|kernan LLC in December 2004, specializing in planning, urban design and community development and redevelopment.  Mr. Kernan is a member of several professional affiliations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, Builders League of South Jersey, Gloucester County Construction Board of Appeals and the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers, where he serves as Treasurer.  He is also actively involved with the Founders Society Committee of the United Way of Gloucester County, Greater Woodbury Chamber of Commerce and Woodbury Breakfast Rotary Club.
